today choir started at 12.30pm. we had warm ups then had sectionals for 'Everyone Sang'. I, of course, was in alto. it was rather easy actually, almost the whole first part is the singing the same note. okay, so after our sectionals, we had combine as Miss Lim was already here. we, altos, were quite soft as there were very little people. at first it was only SEVEN! -4 sec ones and 2 sec threes. but then more people came in. so yeah. Miss Lim wasn't very happy with the soprano ones so she decided to shuffle us. there wasn't enough time so she only auditioned the sec ones. she needed strong voices in sop1. and i, fortunately, might be put back into
SOPRANO ONE!

yes. i was soo super happy la. everyone was practically congratulating and hugging me. then Mrs Ong said that we have gone CRAZY. haha! okay, then Miss Lim left. and it was time for us to start practicing for the CCA FAIR next year. so we sec ones went upstairs to learn the song La Cucaracha (The Cockroach). i know, i know, it sounds disgusting but when you hear the whole song, its totally awesome. there are even moves! (oh yes, i was in sop one by the way. :D) but we keep messing up. we clapped the wrong timing and its not because we can't follow the beat, mind you. it was because ... heh. hard to explain but yes, its difficult to follow but we still managed in the end. (: yay us. so after learning, we went back down into the chopin room and did the whole song with our seniors. we did okay but still a little messy. then we did I Feel Pretty. overall the song was okay but we really must stop SCHREECHING when singing the high parts. then we sang all the songs that we were going to perform during the CCA FAIR except for Arms Around The World and Adieu, sweet Amarillis. oh yes, these are the songs we'd be performing if i'm not wrong.
